Dr. Lois Lagier

Dr. Lagier received her baccalaureate degree in Biology from the University of the Pacific and in Dental Hygiene from the University of California at San Francisco, both with honors. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific. While studying at UCSF she did research on calcium content of saliva in relationship to calcium levels produced by the parathyroid gland.
Dr. Lagier is a member of the Monterey Bay Dental Society and has served on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Doctors of Oral Sedation.
She has completed extensive post-doctoral education and certification from the UCLA School of Dentistry, UCSF School of Dentistry and Doctors of Oral Sedation.
She is actively involved in the community and has served on numerous community boards.
She is an avid reader and enjoys Pilates, hiking and time with her family and friends.
Tina was born and raised in Watsonville, California and graduated from Cabrillo College in 2000 with an associate in dental hygiene. She uses her knowledge and expertise to help restore and maintain the oral health of our patients with regular and periodontal hygiene care and education. In her free time Tina enjoys reading, biking and spending time with her large family.
Kelsie was born and raised in Prunedale, California. She joined Dr. Lagier's team in 2012. At a young age, she learned the importance of keeping your teeth and gums healthy for one's overall health and quality of life. After she had her braces removed, she also realized how much a beautiful smile can improve your self confidence and social impact. Kelsie earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from University of the Pacific in 2011. She has enjoyed her time working with Dr. Lagier's team delivering gentle and thorough care to patients and looks forward to serving the Peninsula for many years to come. Kelsie feels lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of California with her fiancé Travis. She enjoys spending time with family, making improvement to her first home, reading and hiking with their dogs Lucy and Baron.
Registered Dental Assistant
Gaia interned with our office as part of completing her Registered Dental Assistant training at Monterey Peninsula College in 2011. She is Dr. Sheila Farahani’s dental assistant and specializes in apprehensive patient care. Gaia is from Big Sur, and after living in Europe for several years, returned to this beautiful area to raise her family. She is also a make-up artist and enjoys gardening and reading with her children.
Registered Dental Assistant
Nancy has been the dental assistant for Dr. Lois Lagier for over 16 years. Nancy graduated from Monterey Peninsula College and received her Certified Dental Assistant and X-ray license, then returned to MPC in 1979 and earned her R.D.A. and Coronal Polishing license. Nancy has worked in both General Dentistry and Orthodontics over the years. She and Dr. Lagier have also had training in oral sedation. Nancy’s goal is to make your dental experience both comfortable and educational. She has been married to her high school sweetheart Monte for 35 years and they have two married daughters and a beautiful granddaughter.
Cathie has been in the dental field for over 13 years working as part of the administrative team greeting and scheduling patients, assisting patients with treatment plans and maximizing their dental benefits. She especially enjoys welcoming new patients to our dental family. Her previous career was in the marketing and advertising field. She has been married to her husband Dave for over 30 years and they have a grown son. In her free time she enjoys shopping, cooking and hiking.
Deborah has enjoyed being in the dental field since 1995 when she first came to work for Dr. Lagier as an administrator and personal assistant. Originally from Chicago, she loves the Monterey Peninsula and being near the beach. She is a natural nurturer and takes pride in delivering unparalleled service to each person in our care with attention to detail, accommodation of scheduling requests and passion for patient comfort. Deborah is the mother of two grown sons and the doting grandmother to granddaughters Ellison, Madison and Bella. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and most importantly, the company of family and friends.
